Alex McEvoy - Manager

Experience 

Alex’s experience of project and programme management experience has been gained through numerous successful engagements across the public sector and the financial services industry.  Alex joined Moorhouse in 2005 after previously working as a consultant with Deloitte and for Lloyd’s of London. His clients have included Transport for London (including the implementation of Congestion Charging), Norwich Union, National Australia Bank, Lloyd’s of London and the Department of Trade and Industry.

His skillset includes programme and project scoping and planning, PMO set up, project delivery, benefits modelling and analysis, risk scenario planning, and corporate introductions of programme and project management best practice. He enjoys collaborative working and strongly believes in the alignment of programme and project work with the strategic objectives of an organisation. 

Qualifications

Alex has a Master of Mathematics degree from Durham University and is a qualified PRINCE2 and MSP Advanced Practitioner.

Interests

Outside of work, his main interests are sport and foreign travel. He plays cricket and football (highly competitively!) and is a keen skier. His travel experiences to date have included hiking the Inca Trail in the Peruvian Andes, a self-guided safari through Botswanan forests, white-water rafting the Zambezi, hiking the length of Yellowstone National Park, scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef and parachute jumping in New Zealand.
