    Alex is a senior programme leadership management consultant with extensive experience of enterprise transformation across the financial services industry and the public sector.

    Working with Board level stakeholders, Alex has led both consultant and client teams. He has strong analytical skills, and believes in consulting in a pragmatic and highly collaborative manner, simplifying and bringing clarity to complex business challenges.

    He specialises in hands-on delivery of high profile, complex transformation programmes, designing and implementing executive-level arrangements to performance managing £multi-bn change portfolios, and building organisations' capability to deliver change themselves.

    Alex has worked in strategic delivery and advisory roles in many of the UK's largest programmes. Covering a wide variety of subject matters and an extensive set of organisations such as large banking groups, insurers, BT, NHS, Transport for London, and several government delivery and oversight agencies/authorities.

    Alex joined Moorhouse from Lloyd's of London, where he worked at executive level to scope, and introduce a programme management approach to drive the implementation of several key London Insurance Market wide transformation initiatives. Prior to this, he spent several years at Deloitte Consulting.

    Alex has a Master of Mathematics degree from Durham University, and holds PRINCE2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Advanced Practitioner, and Agile delivery qualifications and is a member of both the Institute of Consulting and the Association for Project Management.

    Outside of work, Alex's interests are sport and foreign travel. He enjoys playing cricket, football and is a keen skier. His travels to date have included hiking the Inca Trail in the Peruvian Andes, a self-guided safari through Botswanan forests and the Okavango Delta, exploring Borneo's jungles, white-water rafting the Zambezi, kicking back in remote Fijian islands, hiking the length of Yellowstone National Park, scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef and parachute jumping in New Zealand.
