Becky Walker - Senior Consultant

Experience

Becky joined Moorhouse Consulting after three years as a Consultant with Deloitte; during which time, she developed a broad consulting skill-base with specialism in programme leadership disciplines, such as: 

• Set up and running of Programme Management Offices (PMOs)
• Programme Close Down for large programmes including records management (incorporating FOI, DPA and PRA requirements)
• Senior stakeholder management
• Programme Assurance

Becky has worked on both public and private company projects but has focussed on the transport sector in recent years. This experience has covered both national and regional road pricing work for Transport for London, Department for Transport and Centro and Network Management projects for the Highways Agency.  It has also included work for the CBI.  Through these clients and others, Becky gained a good reputation for being a ‘safe pair of hands’ and for ‘getting the job done’ and has gained great experience of the management of large, complex, high profile programmes operating in difficult political environments.

Becky’s style of programme leadership is based on combining pragmatism and recognised best practice to address the problem in hand, working in joint delivery teams wherever possible.  She works regularly at Board level but builds relationships well across all levels within a team. 

Qualifications 

Becky is a graduate of Cambridge University where she studied Natural Sciences, is a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner and is a MSP Advanced Practitioner.

Interests

Outside of work, Becky loves music and dancing.  When possible Becky likes to reminisce about her university days by rowing.  Her true passion though, has to be her collection of shoes.
