Bob Edwards - Principal

Experience

Bob’s programme and project management experience has been gained over twenty plus years with a variety of high profile clients, encompassing both the public and private sectors and spanning a variety of geographical locations.

His initial exposure to large scale programmes was in the late 1980s with the national roll-out of the DSS Operational Strategy, as a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). His consulting engagements since then have covered clients as diverse as Nasdaq- Japan, Westland Helicopters, Shell Netherlands, North West Water, British Gas, the London Borough of Lambeth and Nomura. Within each of these engagements, Bob has been responsible for managing specific elements of the programme management framework including planning, mobilisation, end-to-end delivery and PMO establishment.

Bob is an enthusiastic promoter of programme management best practice.

Qualifications

Bob obtained a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from King’s College, London. He is a PRINCE2 qualified Practitioner and a Member of the IMC.

Interests

His overriding passion, however, is music, especially classical and jazz – his turn at the 2006 Christmas Party had gone down in the annals! Outside of work, Bob tries to keep abreast of current scientific thinking and is quite happy to expound on such obscure topics as quantum entanglement with anyone unfortunate enough to get him started.
