- InterestsRead more
Bob is a father of four and is regularly reminded that he spends too little time with his family, following a globe-trotting military life, a demanding consulting career and a range of adventurous pastimes, so his other ambition is to rectify that situation. The need for 'more family time' is less a cliché in his case, and more a necessity. He likes to be busy and active, reflecting a life that has never seen him sit still for long. Outside work, he enjoys mountaineering, hill-walking and ski-ing, and runs to keep fit and sane (many of his best ideas emerge while running in the countryside around his Salisbury home). He is keen on DIY and has spent many years progressively re-building his house. However, Bob's real passion is offshore sailing, having grown up with boats throughout his life. Despite having raced and cruised many thousands of miles across the globe, particularly during his Service career, Bob has only recently become a boat owner himself, so he looks forward to creating the time to fulfill some long-held sailing ambitions on his own yacht.
