Dom Moorhouse - Managing Director

 

Experience

Dominic, the Managing Director of Moorhouse Consulting Ltd, is a former software engineer and Royal Marines Officer (serving an 8-year commission).  Dom founded the company after previously working for Deloitte Consulting as a Manager in their Programme Leadership practice.

He has considerable experience of managing large-scale programmes within the Public and Services sectors - involving the enhancement of processes, operations and organisational structure at a corporate level.

Dom is passionate about the benefits of well-executed programme management and how, working in close collaboration with client teams, this discipline can lead and drive strategic transformation.

Qualifications

Dom has a first-class computing degree, an MBA, programme management accreditation (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP Advanced Practitioner) and is a Fellow of both the Institute of Management Consultancy (CMC qualified) and the Association of Project Management (APM).  Dom is also a Chartered Director.

Interests

Outside of work, Dom is primarily a busy father of three, young children. As such, his zest for an active, outdoor life (which has included being a paragliding pilot, Zambezi white water raft guide, endurance canoeist, climber and expeditioner) has been put on “temporary hold”. Notwithstanding, he still snatches the opportunity to support his local rugby club, Bath, whenever he can.
