Jon Russell - Chief Operating Officer

Experience

Jon has worked in a variety of business backgrounds ranging from blue chip to SME and encompassing both business-to-business to business-to-consumer environments. Most recently, prior to joining Moorhouse Consulting, he successfully guided a boutique travel business through a £20m+ management buy-out backed by private equity.

Jon graduated from Manchester and spent the next two years contracting to enable him to indulge his passion for travelling - taking in Australia, the Far East and America before joining Thomson Holidays (purely a coincidence!) as a trainee Management Accountant.

While at Thomson, Jon  enjoyed a number of high profile roles which increasingly diverged from mainstream finance into key strategic and operational positions. Subsequently, he has applied his excellent all-round experience in senior finance positions of several SME businesses.

Qualifications

Jon is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA). 

Interests

Jon recently moved from London to Brighton to provide a better environment to raise his family. He is a season ticket holder at Arsenal (never mind!) and is treasurer of a local youth football club with over 200 boys and girls on their books.
