Nick Fitch - Principal

 

Nick is a seasoned consultant with over thirteen years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Nick has strong consulting and general business skills gained whilst working at major consulting firms including Atos Consulting and Andersen Consulting. He has also worked in the industrial equipment, automotive and telecoms sectors. Nick has led teams on a wide range of projects and programmes ranging from process led business transformations through to systems reviews. Whilst business focused, Nick also has earlier experience of systems development and maintains a good understanding of IT. Most recently, Nick has been involved in the national roll-out of Choose and Book, a new application for the NHS, from the National Programme for IT. He has also worked for the Home Office (IND), Transco, Benefits Agency, UBS and many other organisations.

Qualifications

Nick is an MSP practitioner and has a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from UMIST and an MSc in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from The Cranfield Institute of Technology.

Interests

Outside of work, Nick has an active lifestyle – he enjoys tennis, squash, golf, sailing and is a keen albeit ‘Johnny come lately’ skier. Nick has three children, who keep him busy being ferried to endless parties and extra-curricula activities, or running him ragged playing football in the park. In quieter and rarer moments, Nick also enjoys walking, music and the theatre.
