Nick Harper - Principal

Experience

Nick has many years’ experience in Portfolio, Programme and Project Management, business redesign, business improvement and change management. Before joining the Moorhouse team, Nick spent ten years with PA Consulting and twelve years in the Civil Service. He has undertaken a wide variety of operational and programme management roles and this, coupled with his public sector background, has enabled him to operate at the highest level. For example, having programme managed the creation of the Rural Payments agency by merging Defra regions and the Intervention Board, he acted as interim Chief Executive pending a permanent appointment. More recently he spent two years as Head of Business Development at the Welsh Assembly Government working with the Executive Board.

Qualifications

Nick has a degree in Chemistry. He is a Chartered Management Accountant, a PRINCE2 Practitioner and is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting (CMC qualified).

Interests

Outside of work, Nick is primarily a busy father of three children. He enjoys swimming, walking and cycling with his family. At weekends, if not repairing punctures, he can often be found exploring parts of the National Cycle Network near his home.
