Philip Carr - Principal

Experience

Philip has many years experience in project and programme management, focusing in the last five years on the public sector and the services industries. He specialises in helping clients improve their internal project management capabilities, and has much experience creating and delivering focused project management training.

In his previous consulting roles, Philip’s main clients have included Transport for London, the Department for Work and Pensions, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Immigration and Nationalisation Department.

Prior to consulting, Philip worked for Rolls-Royce Plc. Joining as a graduate trainee, he went on to become a Senior Project Engineer on high value design and procurement programmes.

Qualifications

Philip is PRINCE2 certified; he has also developed and tutored many project management related courses.

Interests

Outside of work, Philip indulges in one of his two passions in life - either watching Leicester Tigers Rugby Club or, in fine weather, sailing. He has recently abandoned learning to fly model aircraft after an unfortunate incident involving his planes propeller and his instructor’s thumb!
