Sam is an experienced programme manager with a strong customer focus and successful track record in delivering large, complex and strategic initiatives in both the public and private sector. This includes the end-to-end delivery of high profile, high value programmes and projects for organisations such as London Underground, UCL, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. His public sector expertise is balanced by previous experience working with commercial private sector organisations such as Petro-Canada, Sainsbury’s and HSBC. Sam’s consulting experience covers the full range of PPM activities, including setting up and running Programme Offices for multi-million pound projects and programmes, programme management of a large organisation-wide behavioural change programme, managing complex logistics and suppliers, administering high-value contracts and guiding them through the OGC Gateway process, engagement with senior, high-profile stakeholders and management and development of various project teams.
Qualifications
Sam has a degree in Law and Computer Science from Keele University. He is also a registered PRINCE 2 and APMP practitioner, and member of the APM.
Interests Outside of work, Sam enjoys a passion for scuba diving, and has recently taken up skiing. He is also a keen photographer and runner (although not at the same time).
