Samir Sayed - Senior Consultant

Experience

Samir has over five years experience in business management and technology consulting. He comes to Moorhouse after previously working for Deloitte Consulting, as a Senior Consultant in their IT Infrastructure & Governance practice. Samir has built wide-ranging expertise in planning, managing and deploying enterprise business IT solutions within large-scale programmes. Samir has worked with an extensive client base, including the Ministry of Defence, London Borough of Haringey, London Borough of Greenwich and Allen & Overy. As a result, he has gained significant delivery experience in a variety of disciplines including project management, change management, technical assurance and architecture, business case development and IT procurement.

Through exposure to a range of varied programmes, Samir has constructed a balanced set of technical and core consulting attributes. He is passionate about the benefits of structured project and programme management approaches and how, when aligned with the strategic and technology goals of an organisation, they can be used to deliver real value.

Qualifications

Samir holds a Masters degree in Chemistry from Oxford University, and is a member of the British Computer Society.

Interests 

Outside of work, Samir enjoys a range of sporting and social activities. He is a keen tennis player, and is currently also learning to ski. In addition, Samir regularly practises yoga and a range of martial arts, as part of his slightly misguided quest to become the “Indian Bruce Lee”. He also enjoys socialising with friends, watching movies and travelling.
