Simon Dennis - Principal

 

Experience

Before joining Moorhouse, Simon had built up expertise in project and programme management during several years in Deloitte’s Programme Leadership practice. He has supported the delivery of many large-scale PPM assignments, with a focus on public sector change programmes.

Always with a strong emphasis on pragmatism and collaboration, Simon has worked with a range of major blue chip organisations and central Government departments including Defra, HM Revenue & Customs and Transport for London (where he was part of the core team responsible for the launch of the Oyster card).

Simon’s consulting and advisory experience spans many aspects of PPM and change integration - including capability building, governance, stakeholder management, PMO set-up and the implementation of operational process improvements.

Qualifications

Simon received a first class degree from Warwick University, having also lived and worked in Germany, attending Mannheim Business School and holding internships with Ford and Mazda Motors. He is a Member of the APM and IBC and holds Practitioner status of PRINCE2 and MSP Advanced. He is also a qualified Practitioner (PMP) of the PMI.

Interests

Simon divides his time away from work between a variety of sporting, musical and social interests – but his greatest passion is for languages and travelling, having made recent trips to Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia as a tourist, English teacher and international argonomist!
