Tom De Winne - Principal

Experience

Tom is an experienced management consultant with a particular interest in delivery of large scale and complex business and IT transformation programmes. He joined Moorhouse Consulting as a Principal after working nine years with Deloitte where, he managed several major transformation and implementation programmes across several industries internationally. A major part of Tom’s consulting experience was within the context of central government initiatives in the UK, Southern Africa and the United States. Through this experience, he has developed an in-depth understanding on how to implement programme delivery and assurance in the context of complex political stakeholder environments in private and public organisations.

Tom’s delivery and advisory work includes all aspects of today’s CIO management and decision making environment where technology is viewed as a strategic business resource, a key enabler of the strategic Private or Public Sector Agenda and an enhancer of organisational performance and transformation.

Qualifications

Tom has a master’s degree in Philosophy and Logics. After obtaining his masters, he performed further studies in business management and international management and intercultural communication at different institutes in Belgium.

Interests

Before settling in the UK, Tom lived in Europe, US and Southern Africa. After having participated in multiple triathlons and Ironman races his lifelong dream remains to qualify for the Hawaii Ironman. He has pushed his boundaries in the mountains (skiing and climbing), on the water (catamaran sailing) and in the air (recently obtaining his private pilot’s license). For now, he mainly enjoys spending time with his young family.
