    Named by the Institute of Consulting as the 'Consultant of the Year 2010', Tom is a pragmatic and inventive consultant who is experienced and qualified in project and programme management.

    Tom works primarily with transport clients, recently supporting the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's PMO in the development of a strategic resource model. Other clients include the Department for Transport, CAA, Transport for London, First Group and BT. Previously at Accenture, Tom was aligned to the Public Service consulting group where he led the PMO for an engagement team of 100+ on a Ministry of Justice project to modernise scheduling processes within UK Magistrates Courts.

    His preferred consulting style is to work jointly with clients, combining a pragmatic delivery approach with a deliberate focus on the wider, long-term project/programme objectives. He is currently leading Moorhouse's business development in New York and balances client delivery with the growth of our North American practice.

    Tom has a First Class (Hons) degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from the University of Nottingham. He is a full member of both the Association of Project Management and the Institute of Consulting and a certified PRINCE2 and MSP practitioner.

    In his spare time Tom enjoys playing a range of sports to varying standards. His first love is football although in recent years he has caught the surfing bug and combines his appetite for travel with a desire to seek out ever-better surf breaks around the globe.  He has ambitions to write a novel and design and build a house in his home county of Yorkshire.
