Tom Elvidge - Manager

Experience

Tom is a pragmatic and inventive consultant who is experience and qualified in project programme management. He has worked primarily with transport clients at Moorhouse, most recently supporting the Department for Transport’s International Networks Division in the definition and delivery of a programme to identify improvements to international networks. Tom has also worked with clients including the CAA, Transport for London, First Group and BT. Previously at Accenture, Tom was aligned to the Public Service consulting group where he led the PMO for an engagement team of 100+ on a Ministry of Justice project to modernise scheduling processes within UK Magistrates Courts. Tom’s preferred consulting style is to work jointly with clients, combining a pragmatic delivery approach with a deliberate focus on the wider, long-term project/programme objectives.

Qualifications

Tom has a first class Masters degree from the University of Nottingham in Manufacturing Engineering and Management. He is an accredited MSP and PRINCE2 Advanced Practitioner and a full member of the Association of Project Management.

Interests

Outside of work Tom enjoys playing a range of sports to a wider range of standards. His first love is football and he has (painfully at times) followed Leeds United since childhood. In recent years he has caught the surfing bug and combines his appetite for travel with a desire to seek out ever-better surf breaks around the globe.
