Developing Leaders in Programme and Project Management

Developing an internal  Programme and Project Management (PPM) capability is a ‘hot issue’ for many organisations. At the core of this capability are its people - the Programme and Project Managers, and the people who manage them. This seminar will seek to examine the challenges of developing PPM capability through the focused development of these key people, exploiting their potential as future leaders and drivers of PPM performance. We will look at PPM mentoring as powerful way of integrating a whole range of one-to-one learning and development approaches, and as a vehicle for not only developing people as PPM leaders, but for finding ways to better ‘wire them in’ to the PPM industry, its latest thinking, ideas and techniques. The session will allow delegates to share both their experiences in the areas of PPM learning and development, and their views on the most effective approaches for the future.
