Moorhouse is a fast-growing, award winning consultancy, that helps organisations design and deliver successful transformation for themselves and their clients. We believe that a small number of our consultants working within our client's team guarantees the best result. To ensure that our consultants hit the ground running, we recruit only the best consultants with a proven track record of client delivery success and experience in structured programme and project management (PPM). This way, we can ensure that we can achieve anything together.
Our consultants ensure our clients effectively deliver their strategy by working with them to clarify and simplify direction, enhancing their organisation's capability and providing hands-on delivery. We make the complex simple.
We don't just deal in theories, but in the practicalities of effecting complex transformation. By getting to know our clients and understand their business, we can ensure that our solutions are grounded in our clients' realities and culture.
We help clients by:
- Turning strategy into action;
- Providing out of the ordinary delivery;
- Embedding best practice PPM culture
We are proud to have received a major national-level award in every year of our existence. Click here to view our awards.
- About the roleRead more
Managers typically have 6-9 years relevant experience, Principals 10-12. Relevant experience means programme managing large, complex, business transformation activities. Typical assignments might include Outsourcing, Mergers and Acquisitions, implementing new Operating Models, ICT Consolidation, regulatory reform, product development.
Our Client Directors, in addition, are able to take full accountability for generating and building client accounts, assuring high quality delivery and managing profitable engagements.
In addition to day-to-day client activities, all our staff are encouraged to participate in a number of internal, practice management activities, by joining one of our 'Quads'. The Quads, (Business Development, People and Talent, Culture and Events, and Home) give a real sense of collective ownership.
Professional development is a constant theme for all grades whether that is formal training (internal and external) or more informal knowledge transfer.
- What we are looking forRead more
All grades must have at least three years consulting experience with a 'big name firm'. Additional relevant experience – in Programme Management and Consulting will then determine your grade. At the more senior grades we are looking for leadership, an evidenced track record in managing and directing large programmes and teams, developing and managing client accounts and contributing to all aspects of running a consulting business.
We also expect you to have relevant qualifications and accreditations, such as PRINCE2, MSP, APM membership etc, but we will support you in getting these if you don't.
The key skills we look for in our consultants are leadership, problem solving ability, planning and organising, and communication and presentation. We also look for people who are decision makers and innovators.
We are particularly looking for credible experience in Financial Services, Health/Pharmaceuticals, TMT, Transport and Central Government.
Our culture is very important to us and so it is essential that we find consultants who are the right 'fit'. We take our work seriously, but never ourselves, and so a sense of humour is vital, as is being a team player. We also value integrity, accountability and honesty and look for people who embody these values. Our consultants are known for their high levels of achievement and drive, as well as their passion and flexibility – if this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you.
