Moorhouse named winner of professional standards award 13-12-07
After making 'Runner Up' in 2006, the team was delighted to scoop the top prize in recognition of their ongoing commitment to raising standards in the industry.
Managing director Dom Moorhouse said he was delighted that the industry's leading body had acknowledged his team's dedication and hard work.
Dom said: “Consultants often get derided for working in an unregulated industry with scant regard for professional standards. These awards demonstrate that, with the IBC's leadership, the industry is becoming more accountable. I am delighted that our efforts in supporting this agenda have been recognised.”
The IBC awards were held at The Savoy Hotel in London and were attended by over 100 leaders from the management consultancy sector.
Moorhouse were also named as 'Runners Up' in a second category - their pioneering programme and project management work for clients like Transport for London saw them nominated for 'The most effective consulting project demonstrating the importance of a strong client/consultant relationship.'
The success caps an exciting twelve months for Moorhouse. During 2007 they not only won prestigious new clients Department for Transport and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, but were also named as one of the 'Fastest Growing Firms' by Top-Consultant.com and were crowned Runners Up in two categories at the Association of Project Management's annual awards.
Dom concluded: “2007 has been a fantastic year for all of us at Moorhouse and being recognised by our industry and peers is the icing on the cake. We look forward to an equally prosperous 2008!”
