Young Project Managers Inspired By New Event

Thirty of the UK’s hottest up and coming project managers attended the Association of Project Management’s (APM) recent ‘Young Project Manager of the Year Roadshow’ event.
Lead speaker David Epps of project management firm Moorhouse Consulting, and Runner Up for the award in 2007, told the story of the client project that so impressed last year’s judging panel - implementing best practice programme and project management (PPM) within the NHS, to help deliver their flagship change programme NPfIT Local Ownership Programme. David also talked about his experience of the APM’s awards submission process and offered suggestions on how to do your submission justice by telling a compelling story, and some of the benefits his organisation has seen as a result, such as increased profile and credibility.
David said: Graham Woodward, the APM’s Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the APM Awards Judges joined David as a speaker on the day.
