What is mapp?

The Moorhouse Approach to Programmes and Projects is known as mapp.  It is our engagement management methodology that enables a standardised approach to delivering our services, principally the successful delivery of programmes and projects on behalf of clients.

How is mapp characterised?

At its simplest mapp is a set of clearly structured guidance, tools and control templates that includes:

• A programme and project lifecycle structure(s);
• Programme and project management guidance documents;
• Programme and project management tools (e.g. categorisation tool);
• Programme and project management products (e.g. templates for control documents).

How can mapp help me?

When intelligently applied, mapp can help to enhance programme or project control and therefore, increase the chances of successful delivery. 

Use of mapp also supports clients and consultants by providing a common framework/language in which to engage with other colleagues.

Additionally, mapp is based on recognised standards; as such, staff fluency in this methodology will enhance individuals’ professional development and qualification in a recognised way.
