Moorhouse and partners offer new interim management solutions to public sector 28-10-10

Moorhouse has joined forces with the leading interim provider Penna, together with change and commissioning specialists Hay Group and BiP Solutions, to provide a new set of interim management solutions to Government.

The partnership offers a unique combination of top-level talent, leadership advisory services, and development skills, with many years of experience of working at Board and Executive level in the public sector.

These combined skills have already won the Partnership a coveted place on the Buying Solutions framework agreement for 'Non-Permanent Staff Services'.

Moorhouse's managing director, Dom Moorhouse, said he was delighted with the framework win, and that the new solutions couldn't come at a better time for clients.

“We're about to see the biggest shake up of our public services since the Second World War, and many departments will need a fresh injection of talent to help them deliver and cope with the change,” said Dom. “The right interim managers can be the force needed to manage this type of transformation.  Put these people in the right roles, doing the right things, and they will help the Government come out of the other side of the crisis.”

The business model for the Moorhouse Penna Partnership has been created with Government's needs specifically in mind. Dom continued: “Public sector doesn't want to spend scarce cash on vast groups of advisors or consultants anymore. They need specialist people or teams of no more than two or three, delivering very specific goals.  They also need a 'low risk' purchase – and this is where our experience as a niche firm used to these types of close engagements comes into its own. Combine that with Penna's excellent pool of talent, Hay Group's HR and change expertise and BiP Solution's commissioning, training and development skills – and we truly believe we have a value for money solution to our clients' interim management headaches.”

James Hunt, managing director of Penna, concludes: “We are delighted to be in partnership with Moorhouse, offering something so critical to the public sector with a company that shares our values of integrity and quality. Our new staffing solutions will enable faster, better, and cheaper delivery of the Government's efficiency and reform programme.”
