Moorhouse short-listed for project management awards 31-07-07
Programme and project management specialists Moorhouse are finalists for two awards at this years' Association of Project Management's (APM) Project Management Awards.
Moorhouse's David Epps is short-listed for Young Project Manager of the Year whilst the business has been nominated for Project Management Company of the Year.
Managing director Dom Moorhouse said he was delighted that the team's hard work and expertise had been recognised by the industry's leading body.
Dom said: “For the past fourteen years the APM awards have been rewarding and celebrating best practice project management.”
“Everyone at Moorhouse is excited to be short-listed. The number of quality companies taking part also reflects how high programme and project management (PPM) excellence is on organisation's agendas right now, and we are delighted to be up there among the finalists.”
The nominations top off a successful year for Moorhouse, whose turnover grew by 91% in 2007 from 2006, and who earlier in the year were named in Top Consultant's Fastest Growing Companies List, and Management Consultancy's Top 75 Management Consultants. The team has also just won prestigious contracts to deliver PPM expertise to the Department for Transport and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
Dom concluded: “It's exciting times for us here at Moorhouse. The team will be out in force on the night. We are anticipating an evening of great fun and, whatever the final result, shared celebration with some of our attending clients.”
