Moorhouse get off to winning start 21-01-11

It is certainly proving a happy new year for the Moorhouse team so far. The programme and project management (PPM) advisory specialists received top honours at the Institute of Consulting (IC) Annual Awards last week, when consultant Tom Elvidge was crowned 'IC Consultant of the Year', and colleague Simon Dennis picked up the award for 'Customer Delight'.

Tom Elvidge was commended for his support to client Department for Transport (DfT) International Networks Division, with whom he created a strong partnership whilst working on a programme to identify and propose improvements to passenger and freight journeys through airports and ports.

Simon Dennis won the award for customer delight based on his work on the clinical delivery of a key patient administration system for NHS Connecting for Health. Client Joe McDonald said Simon had helped “the programme progress further in five months that it had done in the previous five years” with his “structure, analysis and high quality deliverables”.

Managing director Dom Moorhouse said he was delighted to begin 2011 in such a positive manner.

Dom said: “To start the year with that kind of feedback from a client is pretty special; winning two important industry awards is in recognition of our impact is doubly satisfying. I'm especially pleased for my colleagues who worked so hard to delight their respective clients. 2010 was a breakthrough year for us as we successfully entered new markets, however, I'm heartened that one thing remains consistent – our ability to help clients deliver their complex transformation programmes and our dedication to achieving their desired outcomes.”
