A specialist in managing transformational programmes who has led successful projects for large public sector bodies and global companies. He has worked across multiple sectors with a particular focus on programme governance and assurance enabling effective strategic decision-making.
Ben joined Moorhouse following 6 ½ years in Management Consultancy for BMT where he gained extensive experience at optimising and delivering complex programmes in the Met Police, Ministry of Defence and internationally for ExxonMobil, Celestica and the Five Eyes nations. Most recently he managed a multidisciplinary team to replace the current Hunt and Sandown Class Minehunters with cutting edge Maritime Autonomous Systems, a programme recognised at ministerial level for being at the forefront of the Royal Navy’s transformation.
In previous roles, Ben has managed a team of consultants to establish a PMO to coordinate the five national delivery teams of the Pegasus Programme involving extensive international travel and managing the challenges associated with aligning disparate delivery initiatives against a coherent, strategic vision.
Aside from Defence, Ben has considerable experience of working in the transformation of policing having managed complex projects and PMOs within the Met Police’s Transformation Directorate.
Away from work, Ben likes to keep fit(ish) at his local CrossFit gym, which keeps him ready for anything his daughter can throw at him. In quieter moments Ben and his wife enjoy adding to a growing vinyl collection and finding new places to explore with their retired racing greyhound, Iggy.Back
