Hatem Attia

Senior Consultant


Hatem is a hands-on and experienced business change management consultant with over 13 years’ experience in financial services and a strong track record in helping clients drive value out of complex technology and change programmes.

He has worked with a broad range of organisations within the Retail and Corporate Banking sector in project delivery based roles, with a particular focus on regulatory change and transformation, project and programme delivery, client migration and onboarding and portfolio management. 

Hatem joined Moorhouse following 3 years leading initiatives across a broad range of complex transformation programmes with Mansion House Consultancy practice. He has recently led the Change for a complex transformation programme aimed at giving a Tier 1 Corporate and Investment Bank business continuity post Brexit to clients with access to European markets. This included intra-EU payments, lending and deposit-taking to retain access to the single market with its European clients. He also provided support to the delivery of their lending Forward Target Operating Model (TOM).

Previously, Hatem was a lead migration manager on a cheque imaging programme; a regulatory reform aimed at transitioning corporate clients from legacy cash management products onto a new Cheque Imaging System which simplified and reduced the time of cheque clearing to big corporates. Furthermore, he led and managed the migrations of a complex structural reform programme also known as Ring-fencing a regulatory reform aimed at strengthening the financial system for a Tier 1 Corporate Bank Prior to that, Hatem worked in Lloyds Banking Group and ASNIC Insurance, in a  leadership and relationship management role and as a business analyst prior to that at IBM.

When he’s not working, Hatem likes to make sure he remains as active as possible by keeping fit, regularly going to the gym, cycling and running  Aside from running he is a keen boxer, and occasionally likes to participate in white collar charity events for Cancer Research UK .

He also enjoys socialising with friends whilst enjoying watching a game of football. On the weekends he likes to spend time with his family and going on long walks with their black Labrador.
