Luke joined Moorhouse following 3 years managing multiple demanding projects from both the project management and project management office perspective as part of Grayce’s management consultancy practice. He has recently been the PMO manager for a challenging financial services programme, delivering the transfer of over £80 billion worth of funds to a new asset manager. Luke had the responsibility of embedding himself in the ungoverned and behind schedule financial reporting workstream of the programme in order to design and deliver a strategy to align the workstream with the rest of the programme. Previously, he was the PMO manager for the entire change management portfolio of over 30 projects at Prudential managing a team of 2. In this role, Luke was responsible for project quality assurance, the 2020 planning initiative for the change management portfolio as well as delivering a monthly steerco pack for the heads of each department in the business. Prior to this, he was the project manager for the contract separation project on the critical path of Prudential’s demerger from M&G Asset Management, leading a team of 5 procurement professionals and delivering the project on time and within budget.
His extensive consulting experience covers programme, portfolio and project management, operational delivery and performance improvement, and business transformation. Alan has delivered change programmes across a number of clients. Recently, he refreshed and delivered a risk management strategy and HSSE assurance programme for a global energy organisation. This included the development and effective implementation of numerous HSSE policies.
Outside of work, Alan has two competing passions in life; his family and being outdoors. When not doting on his family, Alan is a keen sailor, canoeist, mountain biker, skier and climber. He is also the proud owner of a kit car, which he unfortunately spends more time working on than driving.Back
