Marylyn Djie


Marylyn brings over 15 years’ experience within the pharma and biotech industries having started her career with McKinsey & Co. USA.

Marylyn has developed and implemented projects spanning portfolio analysis, pre-launch preparedness, competitive brand positioning, scenario planning, war-gaming and brand-corporate and medical communications. Trained as a pharmacist she combines a passion for science and business acumen developing a breadth and depth of knowledge to develop and implement innovative projects in partnership with our pharmaceutical clients.

With the challenges and limitations of working in a COVID-19 world, Marylyn has focused on transitioning and developing current and new virtual offerings for our clients. These include interactive virtual workshops, working sessions and marketing programmes. The need to engage a variety of stakeholders and develop effective communication solutions through virtual channels are challenges we are all facing. Marylyn’s client management experience ensures we design programmes that are specific to our clients’ needs and have lasting impact.

Prior to joining us Marylyn led the InterbrandHealth EU office as the Senior Director responsible for managing EU-based clients on both global and regional projects. Her experience developing communications, marketing and brand programmes allowed global pharmaceutical clients to align across functions and business units to implement their strategic objectives.

Marylyn brings international perspectives from working with pharma and biotech clients both on the West and East Coast of America as well as Asia and Europe. She has gained experience in a wide variety of areas that include: commercial, sales force effectiveness, medical and marketing communications, brand analysis and strategy as well as business transformation.

 Marylyn is an active alumni member of the Dartmouth Tuck School of Business, St. John’s College Cambridge University and McKinsey, helping to organize and participate in various events. She enjoys learning Hawaiian music and playing the ukulele having performed with the Academy of Hawaiian Arts Ukulele Group in the Aloha Festival, Alameda, California. Born in Belgium, Marylyn is fluent in Dutch and conversational German.
