Moorhouse is a dynamic consulting firm, focused on unlocking the potential of our people and our clients to amplify the value of change. Clients like what we do but most importantly how we work. We are looking for people to join the rapidly growing Moorhouse team.
We pride ourselves on being proactive, collaborative and straightforward team players. We like to move fast as a team and both honesty and integrity are key to this. In return you will be part of a supportive and high-performing group that shares the workload, looks after each other and celebrates success together. You can be assured of exciting opportunities that will stretch you and equip you with skills, experience and knowledge that can help organisations respond to the turbulence, change and opportunity that will define the future. We don’t do politics, egos or personal agendas – it consumes too much time and distracts us from being successful together.
We are seeing increased demand for support with Strategy and Customer challenges. The S&C team is helping clients to:
• Define and translate strategy
• Design new operating models
• Create compelling customer experiences
• Develop the insight they need to make better decisions.
We are also seeing an increasing demand for our input at the strategic stage of major transformations.
What are we looking for?
Moorhouse is looking for an experienced individual to help lead the Strategy & Customer Service Line. Ideally you’ll have experience across all of our capabilities but if not, a passion to develop and lead work in those you don’t is essential. As an area of growth for our business, you will be connecting your point of view and experience with clients and prospects, building capability within the team, sharing your subject matter expertise and leveraging your commercial acumen to drive growth in collaboration with our sector teams.
We are interested in candidates who are able to take full accountability for identifying, generating and building opportunities alongside colleagues, delivering innovative and high quality work for clients and managing profitable engagements. We also expect candidates to combine BD activity with ‘on the ground’ leadership of client delivery work, assuring the quality of the work we deliver and helping teams to succeed. As a Client Director, you will be a member of the Executive Committee and add capability to the operational leadership of the firm, playing a key role in business planning and providing input to the Moorhouse strategy. You’ll have experience from working across sectors and will be happy switching between them at pace. We don’t need you to be a specialist in any particular sector, but having a passion for what different clients do, and the context they operate in, is essential.
Potential is what excites us, so we are keen to hear from people who want to harness their experience within an organisation that will invest in their professional development from day one. You will be a Service Line leader, so the ability to inspire others, shape and influence our continued growth and success as a team and contribute to business development is key.
The successful candidates must be able to evidence:
10+ years consulting experience
A CV with a focus on strategic work, influencing senior clients and leading on solution design
Strong and relevant commercial track record
Proven delivery experience with evidence of having identified, led and grown significant opportunities
Degree qualified or equivalent
Market presence and a track record of impactful thought leadership
What we can offer you:
Cash package of circa £200,000 (comprising of £135,000 base and a combination of personal, company and uncapped sales bonuses that are paid every six months).
25 days annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a maximum of 30 days with the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave per year.
Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Group Personal Pension Scheme and a range of discounted lifestyle and well-being benefits through Perkbox.
A culture where you will not need to compete with others because of promotion quotas or the typical distribution curves that govern performance management in other organisations. We recognise and reward performance consistently and transparently across the firm so that everyone knows where they stand.
Our offices are based near Holborn Circus (close to Blackfriars and Chancery Lane) although we expect you’ll work from the office, home or from client site in a hybrid model.
Moorhouse is proud to be an equal opportunities employer and our values underpin a working environment that is inclusive for all those who work for us. We encourage people to bring their whole selves to work, contribute ideas, take the initiative and be responsible for their impact on others internally and externally.
