Executive Assistant

Why Moorhouse?

Moorhouse is a dynamic consulting firm, focused on unlocking the potential of our people and our clients to amplify the value of change. Clients like what we do but most importantly how we work. We are looking for people to join the rapidly growing Moorhouse team.

We pride ourselves on being proactive, collaborative and straightforward team players. We like to move fast as a team and both honesty and integrity are key to this. In return you will be part of a supportive and high-performing group that shares the workload, looks after each other and celebrates success together. You can be assured of exciting opportunities that will stretch you and equip you with skills, experience and knowledge that can help organisations respond to the turbulence, change and opportunity that will define the future. We don’t do politics, egos or personal agendas – it consumes too much time and distracts us from being successful together.

Over the next five years our strategy is to double in size from our current headcount of c.200 consultants; you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and committed team and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.

We recognise that you need to choose us, just as much as we need to want you. Whilst we are excited by the opportunity to recruit a new member of the Business Support team to play such an instrumental role around supporting the business, we need someone who is equally excited by this opportunity.

What we are looking for

- Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Proven experience (ideally 5 years or more) supporting senior stakeholders with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Successful problem solving and decision making.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams)

Key Skills

- Exceptional communication skills – ability to express yourself clearly and succinctly in both verbal and written communications
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently
- Confident decision maker
- Flexible and positive attitude, willing to do what is necessary to get the things done
- Ability to plan and schedule their own workload, deal with several tasks at once, and cope well under pressure
- Calm and friendly approach - able to develop good relationships with colleagues at all levels

Our behaviour and culture is deeply rooted in our values:

  • Integrity and accountability: We will do what we say and do it well
  • Collaboration: How we do things is as important as what we do, so our approach is always collaborative whether working alongside our clients or together as a firm
  • Sense of humour and perspective: We take our work seriously but not ourselves
  • Positive pragmatism: Anything is possible, but not everything is sensible

These values apply to everyone. They come to life through the running of Moorhouse, and it is essential that the successful candidate is able to embrace the values and lead by example.

We are committed to embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment – one where colleagues feel comfortable to bring their whole selves to work, contribute ideas, take initiative and be responsible for their impact on others internally and externally.
