What are we looking for?

The P&T Assistant is an exciting, fast-paced and varied role. Their responsibilities cover the full aspects of the employee lifecycle as well as other ad-hoc generalist activities. Such activities will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting the P&T team with pre-employment checks including DBS checks, security clearance and right to work.
- Creating and issuing of employment contracts and welcome packs
- Supporting the P&T team with employee induction events
- Managing, triaging and responding to queries in the team mailbox
- Updating and maintaining P&T materials such as policies, templates and processes
- Supporting our learning and development proposition - coordinating training, monitoring, and tracking attendance.
- Continuously learning the latest HR best practices to improve efficiencies
- Assisting with report analysis on general HR activities, including engagement surveys

This role requires a highly proactive, service-orientated individual who is keen to learn and build relationships. The P&T Assistant is part of a growing, high performing people and talent team, and would suit someone who is positive, personable, self-motivated and able to work as part of a very collaborative team

The successful candidate must be able to evidence:

- Experience in an administrative or supportive role, preferable covering Human Resources related activities
- Proficiency with Office 365 including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and Forms
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage ambiguity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work as part of a team
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to respond well to feedback and direction.
- Assisting with exit interviews and leaver administration tasks.
- Providing administrative support to the People Director

Package & Location

A total cash package of up to £28,000, comprising of a base salary of £23,000 and a combination of personal and company bonuses which enables all our people to share in the success of the business.

- 25 days annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a maximum of 30 days

Our offices are based near Holborn Circus in central London. We are currently working flexibly, and you will have the opportunity to work from a mixture of the office and home. We have plans to move our office in 2022 to the Liverpool Street area.
