Principal – Delivery Excellence (Health)

The Delivery Excellence Service Line helps clients define and deliver complex change, as well as build change capability for sustainable performance improvement. Services offered through our Delivery Excellence Service Line include Programme & Project Leadership, Portfolio Design & Governance and Programme Assurance. We are looking for a Principal who will primarily focus on leading our Delivery Excellence work in the Health sector. This is a rapidly expanding area for us, and we need a senior leader who can bring their skills and credibility to NHS clients at Trust, Group, System and National Level.

What are we looking for?

To support our continued growth and success we are looking for the very best consultants, with a proven track record and who want the opportunity to further accelerate their consulting career, with a focus on our Delivery propositions. It is essential that you are able to contribute to sales and business development, as well as leading consultant/client delivery teams on key engagements and accounts. In addition, we will expect you to motivate, support and develop junior members of the Moorhouse team and play an active role in supporting the career development of a small group of colleagues. It’s essential that you have a passion for helping grow our business, delivering high value consulting services and developing high performing teams.

We are interested in candidates who are able to take full accountability for generating and building client accounts in the Health Sector, developing long term client relationships, managing profitable engagements. We also expect candidates to combine BD activity with ‘on the ground’ client delivery work. 

You will be a key member of the Delivery Excellence Leadership team and involved in shaping how we run the business, so the ability to lead and coach others; shape and influence our continued growth and success as a service line team; and lead sales and business development is key.  

The successful candidate must be able to evidence:

✔   9 - 11 years relevant business change and transformation delivery experience, whether this is from a big consulting firm, boutique consultancy or experience in industry
✔  A strong track record of scoping and delivering consulting solutions and services; with a strong track record in the Health Sector
✔  A passion for building and nurturing strong relationships, both with clients and colleagues
✔  Experience of effectively managing and collaborating with senior client stakeholders
✔  A keen interest in playing a senior role within the Delivery Excellent Service Line team, supporting the development of our propositions, and ensuring close integration with our Health Sector team.

What we can offer you:

A total cash package of £128,500 comprising of a base salary of £100,000 and a combination of personal and company bonuses that are paid every six months

25 days annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a maximum of 30 days with the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave per year

Our offices are based near Holborn Circus (close to Blackfriars and Chancery Lane) although we will be moving closer to Liverpool Street later this year. We expect you’ll probably work from a combination of the office, home or from client site.
