The Moorhouse Transport sector comprises of four sub-sectors:
1) Aviation - working with clients such as British Airways, easyJet, Heathrow Airport, National Air Traffic Services (NATS) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
2) Public Transport Operators – working with clients such as Arriva and Eurostar
3) Public Transport Authorities – working with clients such as Transport for London and Transport for the North
4) Logistics - working with clients such as Royal Mail
Our work is varied, calling upon the expertise in the Moorhouse Service Lines as necessary. In the last three years, we have supported our clients to deliver the largest merger in UK aviation history, technology transformation in operational and commercial functions, driven performance improvement through operating model design, built innovation hubs at leading airports, and rolled out portfolio and programme governance at aviation regulators and rail infrastructure providers.
Since joining the Transport sector, I’ve led the optimisation of airline operations across terminals at a hub airport - delivering cost savings and an enhanced premium customer proposition, been part of a team replacing the global departure control and customer management system at a major airline, and delivered a revolutionary new digital and eCommerce platform at a leading European low cost airline – reducing the time to market for new products and reducing the cost of change.
At Moorhouse, we usually work in small teams embedded closely with clients at all levels. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside senior leaders of UK and European aviation, helping to deliver their tier 1 priorities, often aiming to deliver first of its kind transformation.
