Diversity & inclusion

More about you.
And you and you.

At Moorhouse we have over 300 talented individuals from a wide range of backgrounds working together. And for us, respecting, embracing and celebrating our individuality and diversity is just as important as delivering exceptional work for our clients.

That’s why we’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace that enables all our people to feel respected, supported and part of a team where everyone can thrive.

Together we achieve more

Our vision is that by embracing what makes us all different, we will all achieve even greater things. To deliver our vision our ED&I leadership community have developed seven focus areas based on recruitment, events, comms, policies, training, guidance for people managers, knowledge management and data.

These focus areas will support us to:

  • Build a workforce that reflects the diversity of our clients and society as a whole
  • Increase people’s awareness and understanding of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) using training, events and comms
  • Evolve and update our ways of working, processes and systems to support and underpin our vision
  • Develop visible and diverse leaders and role models
  • Foster an environment where we support and challenge each other to achieve our ED&I vision
  • Create a culture of inclusion that ensures whoever we are, we are entirely comfortable being ourselves in the workplace.

We walk the talk

We’re serious about ED&I and have rolled out several ED&I initiatives and events each year. These include:

  • Surveying our teams to understand more about our people and identify areas in need of better representation and support
  • Expanding our recruitment partners to recruit from more diverse talent pools
  • Developing guidance to support our managers on inclusivity
  • Celebrating events such as South Asian Heritage Month and Black History Month

At Moorhouse we have several active Employee Resource Groups (ERG). These are communities for employees to support each other, build meaningful connections, promote well-being, and influence culture and policy in the workplace.

These groups are valuable in boosting awareness and representation of underrepresented groups and ensuring the workplace is an inclusive environment for them to work by fostering inclusion, improving diversity, and creating allyship.

Our active groups are:

  • Jewish Life @ Moorhouse
  • Black at Moorhouse
  • South Asian Community
  • Pride @ Moorhouse
  • Working Parents and Carers
  • Women’s Group
  • Disability & Neurodiversity

We know that in consulting, people buy people. So we’ve built a diverse, highly motivated team and we look after them very well, so they, in turn, can look after our clients. We invest in wellbeing, work/life balance, training and reward. We protect our people wherever possible from working silly hours because we know it’s not good for them, for us or for our clients.
