Responsible Business

The future
done differently

At Moorhouse we care passionately about making our immediate and wider world a better place and we’re well placed to drive forward a powerful sustainability and social value agenda.

We’ve already made huge strides in our own organisation and we work at senior level with a large number of organisations where we have influence and can support a similar path. Find out more about how we can help your organisation.

We’re on a journey

We are constantly striving to be a more responsible business and we’re introducing metrics to help measure our progress. Our desire is to make the future better for everyone with a focus on:

  • People We’ll always seek to create an environment which is fair and focuses on improving the health and mental wellbeing of our people, clients and other stakeholders
  • Equality We’ll continue to focus on increasing equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Planet We’ll always adopt policies that make a positive impact on the environment and protect the earth’s resources. We’re on a journey towards Net Zero and while we are not where we want to be yet, we have set a strong ambition for the future through our Carbon Reduction Plan.

We were delighted to become carbon neutral by purchasing Gold Standard offset credits. We also became ISO 14001 certified to identify future areas of sustainability to focus on. We held a Sustainability & Social Value Awareness Week on our social channels to raise awareness and help keep us accountable for our activities.

Driving Sustainability Forward

We established our first internal sustainability working group to drive initiatives such as recycling and a Christmas-themed event. Moorhouse became a member of the MPA Sustainability Ambassador Network and drove the development and analysis of the sustainability pledges MPA members should, and could make.

We have a long history of supporting clients across the Transport and Energy & Utilities sectors to become more sustainable. Moorhouse has been a proud member of the City of London Clean City Award scheme since 2016.

We live our values

Our values are an intrinsic part of our firm and we’re committed to meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.

We give back

In 2023, we aspire to achieve great things in supporting Power2, a youth development charity that believe there is no greater cost to society than unfulfilled potential. Power2 offer educational programmes designed to support children and young people at a critical point in their lives. Helping ages 13 – 21 develop crucial life skills and thrive in different environments, Power2 have various programmes providing 1-1 support to young people struggling with wellbeing, isolation and engagement with school and learning.

We are excited to work alongside Power2, supporting their amazing work with both fundraising initiatives and through the launch of a new mentoring programme.
