What was the challenge?
We worked with a leading low cost carrier as they embarked on their largest ever digital transformation. This included embarking on a multi-year programme to replace their legacy commercial systems with a new platform allowing enhanced customer interaction and proposition innovation, as well as delivery of new products and propositions. This organisation required a delivery partner to provide support over a number of years.
How did we help?
We was engaged to provide experienced agile delivery, and business change expertise to help provide structure, rigor and control in a number of areas:
- - The set up and management of a Transformation Office for a multi-year transformation programme to enable rapid resolution of risks and issues, as data led decision making.
- - Business change expertise to help support the effective transition of new technology into operations.
- - Portfolio management support to improve the way digital projects were set-up, managed and reported to senior stakeholders.
- - Proposition launch which included management of the delivery of a new website and technology changes to support package holidays.
What was the outcome?
The low cost carrier was able to bring new digital capabilities to market quicker increasing their revenue through ancillary product attachment. The time to develop and bring new products to market was also reduced, driven by a rigorous agile portfolio delivery approach.
The organisation was also able to launch a new business line in record time.
