Moorhouse achieves Highly Commended at the Management Consultancies Association Awards 2025

Moorhouse Consulting were celebrating at Monday’s MCA Award Ceremony, held at Grosvenor House, London, after being highly commended for three of the evening’s prizes.

The awards were for the ‘Strategy’ project category for their client, South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb) Service, and two individual award categories. Christine Hollingsworth ChMC and Cora Bolger, both Managers, were highly commended for the Team Leader Consultant of the Year and Young Consultant of the Year awards respectively.

The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) is the voice of the UK consulting sector and the awards, celebrating consultancy excellence and the impact consulting has on our society, have been an important event in the UK consulting calendar for over 25 years.

To achieve Highly Commended for the Strategy award, Moorhouse needed to demonstrate ‘the development of a new strategy, to a critical aspect of a client’s strategic plans and approach.’

Moorhouse partnered with SECAmb to co-design a strategy addressing critical operational challenges and improving patient care. Embedded within SECAmb, Moorhouse engaged over 3,000 stakeholders across the organisation and wider system to ensure shared ownership and alignment. The resulting strategy introduced innovative patient segmentation and virtual care models, enhancing efficiency, morale, and financial sustainability. It repositioned SECAmb as an “Urgent and Emergency Care Navigator.” Within a year, SECAmb launched five Integrated Care Hubs, preventing 1,200 emergency admissions and saving £6 million while improving care across South-East England.
