Moorhouse announced as MCA Award Finalists for two projects

For the seventh year, Moorhouse has been shortlisted as finalists for the MCA Awards 2023.

This year, the most prestigious awards in the Consulting industry year saw a record number of submissions. Moorhouse has been shortlisted as finalists for two projects in the public sector.

The awards highlight the true value of consulting to both the private and public sector and the impact it has on our economy, environment and society. Covering 25 categories and judged by an expert panel, the awards cover firms, projects, and individuals.

The shortlisted Moorhouse projects include their work with His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) for Change and Transformation in the Public Sector, and with Barts NHS Health Trust for Strategy.

For HMRC, Moorhouse worked with delivery partner IBM, operating as the NorthStar partnership, to ensure that HMRC’s transformation portfolio – one of the largest in government – was set up for success. It needed the flexibility and ability to define, prioritise and deliver a pipeline of demand to secure HMRC’s strategic ambitions. The impact of the work will continue to be felt across government and other sectors as a case study in how to deliver and control strategic transformation in large and complex ecosystem environments.

For Barts NHS Trust, Moorhouse supported the hospital group to refresh their organisational and Group Leadership strategy, develop a new strategy for their Group Support Services, ensure clarity on accountabilities between the group layer, hospital sites, and support services, and ensure leadership teams had the people and processes to deliver the strategy. This work has given Barts Health Directors greater ability to provide leadership and capacity to improve outcomes across North East London, and take a lead role in the developing hospital partnerships within the local area.

Managing Partner, Richard Brackstone shared:

Defining and delivering value to our clients is our ‘raison d’être’ and I am proud that we have once again been acknowledged for this.

Bringing the industry’s best talent together in a collaborative culture that relentlessly shapes, drives and supports our clients in their ambitions, are the foundations of Moorhouse and we are really looking forward to celebrating this with them and the MCA”

The ceremony will take place in London this October.
