Moorhouse has been shortlisted as finalists for the MCA Awards 2026.
The most prestigious awards in the consulting industry year once again saw a high number of submissions. Moorhouse has been shortlisted as finalists in three areas; one project and two individual consultants.
The awards highlight the true value of consulting to both the private and public sectors and the impact it has on our economy, environment and society. Covering 25 categories and judged by an independent and expert panel, the awards cover firms, projects, and individuals.
The shortlisted Moorhouse project is for their work with Elexon for the ‘Change and Transformation in the Private Sector’ category.
Alongside our parent company Expleo, Moorhouse has worked with Elexon over the last 5+ years as the Lead Delivery Partner (LDP) for the Marketwide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) Programme – an industrywide programme to transform how electricity is settled, shifting the market away from estimated billing, by leveraging granular smart meter data, to settling electricity ‘Half Hourly’. Involving approximately 200 different organisations from across the energy industry, MHHS is a critical enabler to achieving UK Net Zero targets. In partnership with Elexon as the Programme’s Senior Responsible Owner, Moorhouse and Expleo oversaw the go live of new central industry systems in September 2025 followed by a successful Early Life Support period and opening to the 18-month migration window.
As well as this project, two Moorhouse consultants have been shortlisted for the ‘Team Leader Consultant of the Year,’ and ‘Experienced Leader’ categories.
