Moorhouse has made two senior hires, including Sofia Lencastre who has joined to lead the firm’s Financial Services practice as a Partner and Euan Russell who joins as a Client Director in Defence.
Sofia has been successfully solving some of the toughest issues in financial services for over 17 years, previously holding senior positions at Elixirr, EY, Accenture and Deloitte.
She has extensive experience across the industry in building and leading thriving teams. Sofia is driven by the role that innovation and technology play in disrupting financial services businesses, both strategically and operationally.
Outside of work, Sofia spends her time with her two daughters, as well as balancing personal passions including travelling, contemporary dance and art.

Moorhouse has also welcomed Euan Russell as a Client Director to grow the Moorhouse offering in the defence and security sector. Euan has over 25 years of experience in the Defence and Security sectors, having served as a British Army Officer and as an accomplished business leader. He has led and grown significant Defence & Security accounts in large technology firms; delivering both significant equipment, Special Projects and Information programmes to MOD. He has also led a breadth of transformative consulting engagements as both an independent and whilst at Deloitte. Euan is passionate that all technology transformation activities are combined with the associated people and cultural transformation to deliver maximum business benefit to clients and their staff.
Euan enjoys coaching, developing and mentoring current and future leaders and actively supports both veterans as they transition to careers in the commercial world and graduates as they start their careers. He supports his teenage children’s sporting activities as they travel far and wide.
