Moorhouse is proud to announce that their joint project award entry, Health System Commercial Training Needs Analysis, alongside NHS England (NHSE) and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has been shortlisted at the 2026 HSJ Partnership Awards, which recognise outstanding dedication to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS.
The HSJ Partnership Awards have become the most recognised and respected mark of the strongest relationships between suppliers and the NHS. Following the thorough judging process, Moorhouse was included in 160+ organisations, projects and individuals that made the final shortlist amid 240+ entries logged for the 2026 awards programme.
The 2026 awards judging panel was made up of a diverse range of highly influential and respected figures within the healthcare community.
Shortlisted project synopsis: Health System Commercial Training Needs Analysis:
A collaboration between NHSE, DHSC and Moorhouse Consulting, the Health System Commercial Training Needs Analysis (TNA) identified critical capability gaps and designed a training and career development framework for NHS and Health Family Commercial staff. Using extensive NHS staff engagement, data analysis and co-design, the programme developed national learning journeys, a future curriculum, and a phased roadmap for implementation through the Commercial Centre of Excellence. The partnership delivered over 125,000 data points that generated insights to kickstart a programme to improve equity of access to training, align learning to NHS priorities, creating a sustainable model that strengthens procurement, value for money, and patient outcomes.
